Although Evagrius lived during the 4th century he has much to say to us about our spiritual formation today. Living in Egypt, he is one of the two or three most important of the desert fathers and mothers. We will have a conversation on some of his writings and their influence on Christian formation.
About Evan Howard
Evan Howard is director of the Spirituality Shoppe: An Evangelical Centre for the Study of Christian Spirituality, has served as a pastor at two churches, as an adjunct faculty member at several schools, and is the author of Praying the Scriptures and The Brazos Introduction to Christian Spirituality.
